    \nUniversal access to safe drinking water prevents contamination by waterborne diseases (SDG3).<\/li>\n
  • Economic integration of women:<\/span>
    \nOne income-generating activity per water point, offered in priority to a woman (SDG1, SDG5).<\/li>\n
  • Attractiveness of rural areas:<\/span>
    \nA local drinking water service and the creation of income-generating activities stabilize populations and reduce rural exodus, urban congestion and emigration (SDG8, SDG11).<\/li>\n
  • Transparency of the sector:<\/span>
    \nPublic authorities have access to all data collected: consumption, revenue, operating costs, etc. (SDG16, SDG17).<\/li>\n
  • Adaptation to climate change:<\/span>
    \nGroundwater is little affected by climate change and its sustainable exploitation contributes to community resilience (SDG9, SDG12, SDG13).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
